These healthy little treats are absolutely delicious taken straight from the freezer. Aside from its culinary uses, tahini is full of healthy fats, vitamins, and minerals, offering several health benefits for people with PCOS.

For example, it contains anti-inflammatory compounds as well as antioxidants called lignans, which help prevent free radical damage.

Tahini Fudge Recipe

12 pieces

  • 24 dates
  • 1 cup tahini
  • ½ cup liquid coconut oil 
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • A pinch of salt
  • For garnishing: sesame seeds

Pit the dates and then process them in a food processor together with tahini, coconut oil, maple syrup (or other sweetener of your choice) and salt to a sticky mass (you don't need to mix for a long time, just until the ingredients are well mixed). 

Transfer the mixture to a square form (approx. 7x7 inches) lined with plastic foil and spread it out using the back of a spoon or spatula. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and place in the freezer for about 45 minutes until set. Remove the fudge from the form using the foil, cut into pieces and enjoy!
